Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") set the conditions for using the AI Hunt app and the website aihunt.live (together, the "Service") provided by NAMINOL合同会社 (NAMINOL LLC, "we"). You use the Service after agreeing to these Terms. These Terms apply to the use of the Service as standard terms (teikei yakkan) under Article 548-2 of the Civil Code of Japan. If the Japanese version and this translation differ, the Japanese version prevails.

1. The Service

The Service is a game in which you watch short videos and guess whether each one was made with AI (AI) or actually filmed (REAL). The videos include AI-generated clips and licensed real footage. All videos are selected and published by us; there is no feature for users to upload content. The Service is free and has no in-app purchases.

In host countries we run a live quiz, "LIVE", when the prize pool reaches its target. LIVE is free to enter. Eligibility, prizes and claims are set out in the LIVE Official Rules ("Official Rules"), which form part of these Terms. For LIVE, the Official Rules prevail over these Terms where they differ.

2. Accounts

  1. The Service creates an anonymous account on first launch. To join LIVE you must sign in with Apple or Google.
  2. Each person may use only one account.
  3. You can delete your account anytime in the app's Settings. Deleting it forfeits all rights tied to the account, including prizes won but not yet claimed. The app also tells you this on the confirmation screen before deletion.

3. Minors

If you are under 18, please use the Service with the consent of a parent or other legal guardian. LIVE games and prize claims are limited to people aged 18 or older, as set out in the Official Rules.

4. Ads

The Service shows ads. LIVE prizes are paid by us (from our revenue, which includes ad revenue). Watching or tapping ads has no effect on LIVE eligibility, results or prize amounts.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  1. use multiple accounts, or another person's account or phone number;
  2. operate the Service with bots, scripts or automation tools;
  3. reverse-engineer or tamper with the app or its traffic, obtain answers improperly, or misrepresent your location or residence;
  4. collude with other users to manipulate LIVE results;
  5. place an excessive load on our servers or network;
  6. copy, distribute or sell the Service's videos, images or text without our permission (except as permitted by law);
  7. break the law or public order; or
  8. do anything else similar to the above that harms the operation of the Service or other users.

If we determine on reasonable grounds that you did any of these, we may suspend your account, disqualify you from LIVE or cancel prizes. Except in urgent cases, we will tell you the reason before or after doing so where possible.

6. Intellectual property

Rights in the Service's videos, images, text, software and logos belong to us or their rightful owners. Rights in videos provided by creators belong to those creators.

7. Changes, suspension and termination

We may change the Service, or suspend, postpone or cancel the Service or a LIVE game for maintenance, outages, natural disasters or similar reasons. If we end the Service, we will give reasonable notice in the app, and confirmed prizes still within their claim period can be claimed under the Official Rules. Cancellation of LIVE games is handled under the Official Rules.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  1. We do not guarantee that the Service fits your particular purpose, is free of defects, or is always available.
  2. We are not responsible if you cannot answer in LIVE for reasons not attributable to us, such as network delays or disconnections or problems with your device (disconnections are handled under the Official Rules).
  3. Except in cases of our intent or gross negligence, our liability for damages caused to you by our ordinary (minor) negligence is limited to direct and ordinary damages.

9. Personal information

We handle your information under the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms in accordance with Article 548-4 of the Civil Code of Japan. Before a change takes effect, we will announce the new content and its effective date on this page and in the app.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive agreed jurisdiction in the first instance over disputes about the Service.
